When the Bogle and Chandler case went cold, the police had a lot of questions remaining (like who covered them?) and had four possible theories regarding their deaths:

  • Double suicide
  • Murder/suicide
  • Accidental poisoning
  • Double Murder, by person or person’s unknown

Doctor Bogle and Mrs. Chandler (Part 2)

Once the scene had been thoroughly searched, the Police started to look at the evidence that they had. Preliminary examinations of the bodies at the scene gave no indication that any weapon was used in their deaths. There was no sign of blunt force trauma, stabbing or gunshot wounds, and other than a few scrapes and a bloody nose, there was no evidence that any physical altercation that could have resulted in death had occurred. Doctor Bogle and Mrs. Chandler (Part 1)

New Year’s Eve is often filled with much celebration as people say goodbye to the old year and welcome the new one. Ken and Ruth Nash were one of the many couples holding a New Years Eve party on the 31st of December, 1962. They had invited a total of 20 people and had instructed people to bring with them a picture or artwork that they had created, so that, if nothing else was creating discussion topics, people would be able to break the ice.
